Sarah Garcia, Ph.D. is a current Science & Technology Manager at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Soldier Center – Simulation & Training Technology Center (STTC).
While pursuing her PhD at the University of South Florida, she was recognized as a DoD SMART Scholar, GEM Fellow, Sloan Scholar, NSF FGLSAMP Bridge to the Doctorate Fellow, and as an a FEF McKnight Doctoral Fellow. During this time, she gained experience in the Neuro-Machine Interaction Lab, managing projects that include Brain Computer Interfaces, Machine Learning, and Augmented and Virtual Reality.
